In the environment where the requirements for energy efficiency and communication ability of Internet of Things devices,smart wearable devices and battery-driven systems are increasing,Smart Microelectronics officially released a new MM32L full range of low-energy 32-bit MCU based on Arm®Cortex®-M0++core.This series of products not only continues the accumulation of smart technology in low energy consumption,but also achieves an important breakthrough in communication operation flexibility and system integration,especially suitable for use scenarios that require multi-protocol concurrent operation.
 

MM32L MCU has excellent performance in power consumption control.The power consumption can be as low as 700nA in standby state and further reduced to 100nA in shutdown state,which meets the demanding requirements of various long-term battery-driven devices.The MCU chip is equipped with a variety of low-energy IP modules independently developed by Lingwei,including segment-coded LCD-driven SLCD,high-sensitivity capacitive touch module MindTouch,infrared signal modulation module IRM,low-energy operational amplifier,analog comparator and high-precision clock circuit,and a complete set of low-energy signal chain and human-computer interaction technology solutions are constructed.
 

As a high-performance 32-bit MCU,this series has a maximum clock frequency of 48MHz,built-in Flash memory chips ranging from 32KB to 64KB,and some models and specifications integrate up to 256KB Flash and 24KB SRAM,equipped with 5KB Data Flash for data information storage.The chip covers different package specifications from 20 pins to 64 pins,the working voltage ranges from 1.8V to 5.5V,and the working temperature ranges from-40℃to 85℃,so it has good environmental adaptability.
 

In terms of communication and peripheral configuration,MM32L MCU supports multi-protocol concurrent operation,integrates 2 USART,5 LPUART,1 SPI and 1 I2C interface,and can handle multiple communication tasks at the same time.Its rich timers mainly include two 16-bit general timers,two 16-bit basic timers,four low-energy timers and one RTC real-time counter,which can meet various signal acquisition and processing requirements of complex embedded systems with 12-bit ADC and two analog comparators.
 

This series of MCU also supports a variety of power-saving working modes,including low-energy operation,sleep,low-energy sleep,shutdown,deep shutdown and standby state,so that the system can flexibly adjust power consumption according to the task load and achieve the best stable balance between performance and battery life.At present,smart micro MCU products provide LQFP48,LQFP64,LQFP80 and other packaging forms,which is convenient for customers to choose according to different space and performance requirements.
